Personally, I fail to see how the "Northern NAP train" as it seems to be known nowadays is in any way either a Bad Thing OR significantly different to the situation in the south. I mean, on the one had we have a north where people (mostly) live peacefully alongside their neighbours and exploit the resources of their chosen region... and on the other we have a south-west where everyone (mostly) lives peacefully under the dominion of BoB and exploit the resources of their chosen reason.
Where's the difference, exactly? I'm having trouble seeing it. Is it only dropped by a rare Sansha officer spawn or something?
The south is absolutely nothing like the North.
In the North, most of the major powers have NAPed each other.
In the South, the most major powers are BoB, AAA, LV, and RA, each with their respective allies (FIX for BoB, IAC for AAA, GOON for RA, and so on). ASCN was of course formerly on this list also. I don't believe more than two of these 5 (now 4) alliances have ever been napped together.
If the southern alliances did what the northern ones did, AAA would be mining for BoB, RA would be working with LV on their 8th titan, and FIX would be running joint mining ops with ASCN.
not true mate... last time BoB came north, they were napped with ASCN, AXE, LV, FIX, and various other puppets, pets, slaves, whatever you want to call it. You must not recall the 650 people in EC and 250 in torrinos, and the smack that ensued when we could not take it back. True, after that bob started pew pewing ASCN, but up until then BoB had more naps than the north. This time, we dont want that to happen, and we are preparing for it. I agree that the south is nothing like the north, but it is also nothing like you think it is. Instead of falling apart and becoming an ASCN (no offense), we are working together, much like you did 10 months and some days ago.
By the way, i love how you guys come north looking for fights, and when you get one you complain that we are NAPsters, blobbers, whatever. Like i said, we have never had a gang of 800 people, and probably never will. We have pilots that want a fight, and we arent going to turn them down. Like shinoobie said, the gang system was not big enough to hold the pilots we had last night, and they didnt even get a fight, they just wanted to have some fun. We see you come up north, gank some people, try to get a fight out of FLA, and when you lose a fight (outnumbered as you may be) the smack turns from "you are all wimps, get ready to die" to "omg, one bob corp can cause this much trouble? LOL you are all noobs, we rule, NAP city, etc."
It will be interesting to see how BoB propaganda will work on the north. You have many enemies, perhaps more so than friends, and still you are smacking us for anything you can think of.
